Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish has commented on an American radio station that any chance of re-signing 27-year-old centre-back Mamadou Sakho on a permanent basis this summer have disappeared, according to a report on Football London.
Parish conceded to the fact that any chance of bringing Sakho back to Selhurst Park was “not going to work out” for the Premier League side.
“We have other business to get done,” he added as Palace turn their attention to other transfer targets.

New manager Frank de Boer has his own players that he would like to pursue and even if he wanted to bring in Sakho, Liverpool are asking for far too much money which Palace can’t afford.
The French centre-back was a fan favourite during his short spell at the Eagles as he helped the London club escape from relegation through some solid defensive displays.

De Boer said about Sakho: “He was certainly impressive and important last season, but we will look at what we need.”
The Dutch International manager is hoping for some strong recruitment this summer and he is hoping to strengthen the Palace defensive unit as well as the midfield area.
Palace fans have been excited by the appointment of De Boer and will be eagerly awaiting his first signing as Palace boss.
