Young Colombian defender Davinson Sanchez is one of many centre-back targets for Crystal Palace as it seems the Eagles have been priced out of a move to sign loan star Mamadou Sakho.
But according to Sport Witness, De Boer has been told by former teammate Marc Overmars, they need to up their original bid from €25m to €35m for the Ajax man. It was only a few days ago it was reported they made an initial bid but the Dutch side are wanting as much money as they can if they are to let one of their star defenders go.
Sanchez impressed massively for Ajax last season and has been linked with world giants Barcelona this summer. But for the moment it appears Palace are closet to his signature but will need to pay a huge fee to secure his services.

New manager Frank De Boer is already set to raid his former club after recently being linked with another of his former defenders Kenny Tete.
However, Crystal Palace felt they were priced out of a move for Mamadou Sakho because the Reds wanted £30m but the same price would be required to bag Davinson Sanchez.
If either of those defenders were to join Selhurst Park, it would most defiantly be a major improvement to their defence and will help them ensure a relegation scrap like last season is a distant memory.
