According to Sport Witness, Crystal Palace and West Brom will fight to sign Fiorentina star striker Khouma Babacar, who Palace showed interest in last summer.
Palace and West Brom are both interested but a deal right now is looking unlikely. Babacar returned to form with Fiorentina last season so there is no reason why Premier League clubs won’t be interested in the 24-year-old.
A deal may happen as Fiorentina are interested in Genoa’s Giovanni Simeone so, if they sign him, a deal between Fiorentina and either Palace or West Brom could be agreed.

In the last window, reports from Italy suggested that The Eagles made a €10m bid to sign the Senegalese forward but they went on to sign Liverpool’s Christian Benteke instead.
Crystal Palace do need another striker, with Christian Benteke and Connor Wickham being their only main options.
Babacar could replace Benteke as the main man at Palace or help compliment him when it’s required in the squad.
