One of the busiest clubs so far in the transfer window so far in the Premier League are attempting to hijack a deal for a Palace target, in the shape of Ajax defender Jairo Riedewald, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The 20-year-old has been the subject of interest from a number of clubs in the transfer window so far with the Eagles showing the strongest interest and intent for the £8.6m-rated defender.

Riedewald has played under Frank De Boer in the past during his spell at Ajax and would be keen to link up with the experienced manager, however, a late bid from Everton could have an affect on this.
Ronald Koeman’s side feature in the Europa League this season and have made a number of good signings so far in the current window, which could be seen as a more attractive proposition for the Netherlands international, who has featured for the national side on three occasions since August 2015.
The ECHO understands that the Everton manager has targeted the youngster as a player which could play a key part in his side’s European campaign this season, with his experience in the competition itself noted.
