Mandanda moved down the pecking order at Crystal Palace last season, as injury and good performances by Wayne Hennessey caused the Frenchman to not get as much game time as expected.
He joined Palace from Marseille last summer in a deal that was seen by many as a very shrewd piece of business by the Eagles but it did not work out the way many thought it would.

Mandanda returns to Marseille after spending eight years there before moving to England with Crystal Palace. Marseille are looking for new additions to their squad as they try and go back to the top of French football.
Marseille have already signed Florian Thauvin, Luiz Gustavo, Valere Germain and Clinton N’Jie this summer, as well as former West Ham star man Dimitri Payet in January so adding Mandanda to this list shows how determined they are for a return to the elite in France and Europe.
