Crystal Palace have been told that they must submit a £30m to secure the services for Mamadou Sakho, with a loan not being a viable option for Liverpool.
MailSport reports that the Eagles are still keen on signing the defender who became a fan favorite during his loan spell and was seen as a key player behind the South London’s sides survival in the Premier League last season.
However, Frank de Boer is interested on bringing the 27-year-old in on loan to the club as he shares the club’s hierarchy view that the asking price is too much money for a fringe player of the north-west club, as mentioned in a report by Mirror Sport.

Sakho is also interested in returning to Selhurst Park, with him being excited at the prospect of working with Palace’s new manager. It has also been suggested that the defender would prefer a move to Palace, over another interested club, Sevilla.
The French international made eight appearances for the Eagles last season, missing out on the last few games of the season due to a knee ligament injury.
