Crystal Palace and Everton are both believed to be interested in signing Newcastle United goalkeeper Freddie Woodman on a permanent deal, the Chronicle Live reports.
Woodman signed a four year deal with The Magpies last summer and is under contract at Newcastle until 2020.
It is believed that Woodman wants a loan move to League One this summer in order to gain first team experience but Everton and Palace are both keen on a permanent deal for the stopper.
Northampton Town and Heart of Midlothian have shown interest in taking the player on loan this summer but no deal with either club has yet been agreed.
Woodman has impressed in pre-season for Newcastle resulting in him catching the eyes of Crystal Palace and Everton.
The England Under-20 international had previously been scouted by both Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur in recent years, meaning he’s no stranger to interest from top Premier League clubs.
Newcastle look set to have to fend off some serious interest for the youngster this summer.
