Manchester United utility Timothy Fosu-Mensah is set to join Crystal Palace on a season-long loan and is currently undergoing a medical with the London club, Eurosport reports.
The youngster is contracted at United until the summer of 2020 having signed a new deal in October and will join up with the Crystal Palace squad in order to gain some regular first team football.
The 19-year-old Dutch international made just 11 appearances for the Red Devils last season under Jose Mourinho as he failed to secure a place in the first team.
Frank De Boer has been searching for defensive reinforcements for his Palace side this summer and the loan signing of defender Fosu-Mensah is now imminent.
Fosu-Mensah can play in a central midfield role or at centre-back and can capably fill in at either fullback position.
Fosu-Mensah joined Manchester United as a 16-year-old and was included in the squad that travelled to the United States in pre-season last month.
