Crystal Palace are pursuing a deal for Polish goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski, according to the Telegraph.
Manager Frank de Boer wants to increase competition across his squad this summer, and has earmarked the goalkeeping department as a priority, with Steve Mandanda having already left for his native France this summer.
With the France international’s departure, the Eagles have been left with just two senior goalkeepers – Wales international Wayne Hennessey and club stalwart and veteran Julian Speroni, both of whom haven’t convinced De Boer of their long-term prospects.

Palace had already tried to sign a goalkeeper this window, failing with a £3.5million bid for West Ham second-choice Adrián last week. After Hennessey’s calamitous opening day performance against newly promoted side Huddersfield Town, De Boer will be even more desperate to acquire a new number one.
According to the Telegraph, the two targets on the top of the Dutchman’s list are Roma’s Skorupski and PSV Eindhoven ‘keeper Jeroen Zoet.
Skorupski, a one-time Poland international, would demand a fee of between £6million and £8million, dependent on additional bonus fees. However, Palace favour a deal that would see Skorupski join on a season-long loan with the option to buy, with a fixed price to be paid for his permanent acquisition next summer.
The 26-year old has spent the last two seasons on loan with fellow Serie A side Empoli, having signed for Roma in 2013.
Zoet, also 26, is also interesting Benefica, who lost first-choice Ederson Moraes to Manchester City this summer. Zoet has been capped by the Netherlands nine times.
