After Frank de Boer stated that Crystal Palace have been priced out of a move for Mamadou Sakho, attention has been turned to which central defender he would like to bring in and it looks like Ognjen Vranjes is the man he has his eye on.
The AEK Athens defender has a £4.5million release clause but Palace are hoping to get him for cheaper than that, accroding to a report in the Mirror.
The Bosnia & Herzegovina international is apparently keen to make a move to England and will be hoping that Palace come in for him.

Sakho was outstanding whilst on loan at Palace last season but Liverpool’s asking price of around £30million is too expensive so the Eagles have had to focus their attention elsewhere.
Vranjes has moved around a lot in his career and despite being happy in Greece, he will be keen to make a move to the Premier League.
