Crystal Palace are lining up a shock move for Sam Allardyce should they sack current manager Frank de Boer, The Times reports.
De Boer has had a dreadful start to his Premier League campaign with Palace, losing all three of his opening games, conceding six goals and failing to get on the score sheet.
Palace are second from bottom of the table with only West Ham below them on a goal difference.
It’s reported that de Boer held talks with the Crystal Palace chairman, Steve Parish, on Sunday due to the side’s poor start to the season.

Speculation is rife that the Dutchman could be sacked during the international break, and the Eagles would consider trying to convince former manager Sam Allardyce to return to the club.
Allardyce quit Palace just two days after the conclusion of last season, hinting that his job at Palace would be his last and that he would only be interested in a return to international management.
Roy Hodgson and Slavisa Jokanovic are also names of interest to the club.
