According to HITC, Crystal Palace are hopeful of completing the signing of Cenk Tosun from Besiktas before the transfer window slams shut tonight.
Tosun was born in Germany and he came through the ranks at Eintracht Frankfurt before joining Turkish side,Gaziantepspor in 2011 for £500k. He joined his current club Besiktas in 2014 on a free transfer.
Since joining Besiktas, he has made 122 appearances, scoring 52 times and making 11 assists, which has made him a major interest for many Premier League clubs over the last couple of years and Palace look like the latest team interested.
New manager, Frank de Boer is looking to bring in new strikers, after their very poor start to the Premier League season.

No fee has been mentioned for Tosun but whatever the fee is, Besiktas will make a good profit on the player if he is to join The Eagles, who would be getting a great player on their hands to provide competition for Christian Benteke.
