Crystal Palace’s deal for Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun has reportedly stalled, after the two sides failed to agree how the fee should be paid.
The Evening Standard are reporting that Besiktas wanted the agreed £12.5m fee to be paid over six moths, however Crystal Palace offered to pay over two years.
This has apparently resulted in the bid being rejected, with the Turkish side waiting for a return offer. However, they are willing to sell the striker, with Tosun keen on a move to Selhurst Park.

A further issue is that the player is currently on international duty with Turkey in Ukraine, as the two sides build up to their World Cup Qualifier.
Tosun, who scored 24 goals for Besiktas last season, was the scorer as his side beat Tottenham 1-0 in last season Europa League, and would be a good addition to Frank de Boer’s side, who are still said to be in the market for a striker.
