Manchester City defender Eliaquim Mangala has asked Crystal Palace for time to consider his options, in the light of the Eagles making a reported £23m bid.
Get French Football News reported the news on their twitter feed, as the Frenchman’s future remains uncertain.
It was reported earlier in the week that Mangala would be used as bait with West Brom, in a deal that would see ex-Man United man Jonny Evans join City, and the 26-year-old join the Baggies.

However, Crystal Palace are still in the market for a centre-back and have made a significant offer for the Frenchman, who has asked for some time to weigh up his options.
Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho was Palace’s first choice and the 27-year-old was reportedly keen to move back to Selhurst Park, where he enjoyed a loan spell last season. However, it appears the Anfield club have priced the Eagles out of a move, who are now pursuing other targets.
