A new era at Crystal Palace is set to begin this weekend when Roy Hodgson takes charge of his first game as Eagles manager having replaced Frank de Boer who was sacked after four successive defeats to open the new Premier League season.
Palace were attempting to play an more open, expansive style of football under de Boer but the players failed to adapt and results suffered as a result, with the Dutchman taking the sole blame for it.
Hodgson comes in after more than a year of the game having stepped down as England manager following their embarrassing exit to Iceland in Euro 2016 but has a wealth of Premier League experience managing sides of a similar stature to Crystal Palace.
The Eagles welcome Southampton to Selhurst Park this weekend with the Saints failing to score in three of their four games thus far. Here is our Palace predicted XI.
