Crystal Palace are in talks with Carlton Cole over a possible move to the club, according to the Mirror.
Cole is currently a free agent after leaving Persib Bandung in the summer. This means that he is free to join Palace, despite it being outside of the transfer window.
Palace are rooted to the bottom of the Premier League as it stands, having lost every match so far.

The club are yet to score a goal in the league and Roy Hodgson has contacted Cole over a potential move.
Christian Benteke, who was Palace’s top scorer last season, is set to miss around six weeks with injury, leaving Palace without a recognised striker.
Hodgson has now moved quickly to solve his striking problem and has turned to the former Chelsea and West Ham forward to bolster his side.
Hodgson was appointed Palace manager earlier this month after the sacking of Frank De Boer.
