After Crystal Palace’s woeful start to the campaign, there may be some good news as Wilfried Zaha looks set to return from a knee injury which has kept him out for seven games, Goal report.
Palace have failed to register a single goal in the league so far, but Zaha is aiming to bring back the positive feelings around Selhurst Park, starting this Saturday against the champions Chelsea.
Talking to the BBC about the Palace faithful, Zaha said:
The fans greeted me like I didn’t even leave at all, the love was there instantly, it’s massive, I’m a confidence player so when my confidence is high I’m able to do things that I didn’t even think I could do. Having the fans sing ‘he’s just too good for you’ and stuff like that it’s like these people proper love me!

The 24-year-old winger is enjoying his second spell at the club after a two-year stint at Manchester United where he only made three first-team appearances, and has hailed the support from the Palace fans, which he describes helps him perform to his optimum level.
Zaha was Palace’s outstanding performer from last season and was widely tipped as one of the best wingers in the league from various pundits after scoring seven times during the previous campaign.
