Crystal Palace finally picked up a win and some momentum when they defeated Chelsea at Selhurst Park two weeks ago but they came crashing back down to earth this past weekend.
Despite a gritty display, the Eagles succumbed to a 1-0 defeat away at Newcastle which was their eighth defeat in nine Premier League games, leaving them rooted to the bottom of the table.
Perhaps a cup run can take their minds of their dismal league form.
Palace have scored more goals in two Carabao Cup games than in their nine Premier League outings and next up is a trip to the West Country to take on Championship side Bristol City.
With what projects to be a massive clash at the bottom of the table against West Ham at the weekend, Palace could field a rotated side against City.
Here is our predicted XI for the game.
