Goals from Javier Hernandez and Andre Ayew had put West Ham in front before Luka Milivojevic halved the deficit from the penalty spot.
The game’s biggest talking point came in the final few seconds when Michail Antonio gifted Palace possession, allowing them to counter and Wilfried Zaha to cut inside from the left and beat Joe Hart down low.
