Crystal Palace player ratings: West Brom (A)

Crystal Palace went a ninth game without scoring away from home this afternoon, claiming a point in a goalless draw with West Bromwich Albion.

Facing former Palace boss Alan Pardew in his first game for Albion, Palace were very much second best. Christian Benteke had Palace’s best chance of the game late on, but it was saved by Ben Foster.

Albion had the best of the chances. Jay Rodriguez and Hal Robson Kanu both had efforts saved by Julian Speroni. The Argentine ‘Keeper was a late addition to the Palace lineup after Wayne Hennessey was injured in the warmup.

The result lifts Palace off the bottom of the Premier League and only three points adrift of West Brom. However, it still means that Palace have failed to score away from home for the ninth consecutive game, something that must concern Roy Hodgson.

Here are the ratings for the Palace players after the 0-0 draw with West Brom.
