Premier League side Crystal Palace are interested in signing Norwich City midfielder Ben Godfrey, who has caught the eye of many clubs during his impressive loan spell with Shrewsbury Town, according to a report on HITC.
The 19-year-old has impressed this season while on loan with League One side Shrewsbury, where he has been a regular starter, helping the side to be four points behind leaders Wigan in second place.

Godfrey can also play at centre-back and has made 16 starts in League One among 21 total appearances. The youngster signed a new four-year contract with Norwich in August.
Godfrey’s current loan deal with Shrewsbury is set to expire in January and may be the subject to offers from various Premier League clubs, including Palace.
He has grown in confidence during his loan spell and Norwich will hope that he can now help them in the Championship for the second half of the season.
England under-20 manager Paul Simpson is also keeping a close eye on Godfrey and could possibly call him up to the national team squad.
Palace are currently 18th in the Premier League table but have a good amount of young English players, with Wilfried Zaha and Ruben Loftus-cheek the two high-profile ones.
