Crystal Palace are one of the two Premier League clubs who have made an enquiry about the availability of Angers striker Karl Toko Ekambi, according to a report from French outlet L’Equipe.
The Cameroon international has been in good goalscoring form in France so far this year, scoring nine goals in just 18 appearances.

West Brom, another side languishing at the foot of the table, have also contacted the Angers about Ekambi’s availability and it looks as if they’d be willing to sell and that the player himself would be interested in a move to England.
Palace’s reliance on Christian Benteke has apparently led to Roy Hodgson looking for another centre forward and Ekambi is apparently one of the men on his hit list.
He’s reportedly seeking wages of around £50,000-a-week, which in modern times is not too expensive for top flight sides, so it remains to be seen if either club do make an official bid in the coming weeks.
