According to journalist Pete O’Rourke, Bolton are making a late deadline day attempt to sign Crystal Palace outcast Jordon Mutch.
Mutch joined The Eagles from QPR around this time in 2015, but he hasn’t had much luck in finding a consistent place in the starting lineup, with only 40 appearances for the South London side in three years at the club.
With Ibrahim Amadou looking likely to join Crystal Palace, Mutch would move further down the pecking order so Roy Hodgson would want to let him go to free up wages for Amadou and other players.

The 26-year-old has had a stint away from Palace on loan at Reading in the second half of last season but it is unknown whether Bolton will be coming in for a loan deal or a permanent move for the midfielder.
During his time at Reading he played nine games, scoring one goal which came against Ipswich in his debut for the club.
