Steve Parish has said that Crystal Palace are already planning for life in the Championship, should the Eagles fall into the bottom three, as per ITV.
Parish has said to the players to make sure that the plans that are in place for life in the second tier are not needed, as he hopes to ensure their survival in the coming months.
Roy Hodgson’s men sit currently 17th place after the late 1-0 loss at Selhurst Park to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur and are only ahead of Swansea City on goal difference, and one point ahead of 19th placed Stoke City.

The Eagles have not won in their last five matches, and in their next two fixtures face Manchester United at Selhurst Park before travelling to London rivals Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Parish said at the Sport Industry Breakfast Club earlier in the week (via ITV):
We are in a difficult situation, make no mistake. People ask what I’m planning for, I’m planning for Championship.
At the moment it’s down to the players, but if it does happen I can’t start thinking about it then.
Relegation and promotion are temporary things. I have got to make sure, whether eventuality, we can fulfil the long-term goals of the club.
So the Eagles have a matter of months to turn their fortunes around and stay in the Premier League. If not, then Parish’s plans will come in handy, as he also plans to have naming rights of the stadium and a new stand at Selhurst Park.
