Crystal Palace look to be set for an overhaul this summer as 11 first team players are going to be out of contract and that suggests that a summer of spending is on the horizon.
As it stands, Palace are set to be without a recognised goalkeeper as all three are yet to be offered a contract.
In fact, from the team that started last weekend’s victory that sent Stoke City down, four starters and three subs look set to leave the club. That includes Yohan Cabaye and James McArthur, who scored the winner in Saturday’s game.
Roy Hodgson has worked miracles with his team, they had zero points and zero goals after the first seven league games this season. They are now sitting pretty in eleventh and could still finish above their highest ever Premier League finish of ninth.
With changes to the current squad looking likely, we’ve looked at some players they could sign from relegated sides this season.
As we know only West Brom and Stoke City have been relegated so far, so for this we’ve gone with the presumption that Swansea, who occupy the final relegation spot at present, will join them.
