Crystal Palace are interested in Monaco defensive midfielder Soualiho Meïté, according to L’Équipe, as reported by GFFN.
Meïté recently spent six months on loan with fellow Ligue 1 outfit Bordeaux, and while Les Girondins want to sign the former France Under-20 international on a permanent deal, they will face competition for his signature.
As well as the Eagles registering an interest, German Bundesliga club Werder Bremen are also interested in the 24-year old. Meïté is also contracted to the principality club until 2022 so wouldn’t be on the cheap side.

Even though Meïté hasn’t made many appearances for Monaco’s first-team, head coach Leonardo Jardim is hoping he can be the replacement for star midfielder Fabinho, with it widely expected that the Brazilian will leave the club this summer.
Jardim expects Meïté to go through a full pre-season routine so he can assess where his future lies before he will entertain the idea of sanctioning a sale.
