Crystal Palace are reportedly close to agreeing a deal for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, according to Mateusz Zgorzyk on Twitter, as cited by CPFC Polska.

The 26-year-old’s contract ended on Friday, and whilst he has made his desire to say at the North London club clear, it seems as though his long stay at the Emirates may have now come to an end.
Mateusz Zgorzyk may not be a journalist, but according to CPFC Polska, ‘it is definitely worth to lean on this rumour.’ He is a 21-year-old who is well known in Poland for his passion of collecting football autographs and photos with footballers.
He claims that he spoke to a friend who works in Sweden at the Crystal Palace training camp in Malmö, the camp the club will use during their pre-season friendlies in Scandinavia, and said ‘Information was heard on the occasion of the discussion about the organization of the July training camp in Orłów, Sweden’.
Even if these rumours aren’t true, Palace have been linked with a move for the Englishmen before, most notably when Wilshere decided to move on loan to Bournemouth rather than remain in London.
Earlier this year, in the January window, the Eagles were once again linked with a move but manager Roy Hodgson down-played these rumours. This does, however, beg the question whether the free-agent, who scored 2 and assisted 5 in 38 games this season, will join Palace this time round.
