New Hebei China Fortune manager Chris Coleman is interested in signing Crystal Palace forward Christian Benteke.
The Belgian forward, who was left out of Belgium’s World Cup squad, struggled for consistent form last season. Having only scored 3 goals in 31 Premier League appearances, many have suggested that he would depart Selhurst Park this summer.
Palace are believed to be willing to let him go, but only if they receive a lucrative offer close to the £32million they paid Liverpool two years ago.
According to HLN, as cited by Sport Witness, Coleman is keen to bring the 27-year old to China this summer.

After a failed stint in charge of Sunderland, following a disappointing World Cup qualifying campaign with Wales, Coleman joined Hebei China Fortune to replace the West Ham bound Manuel Pellegrini this summer.
According to HLN, Hebei must first let one of their foreign players leave the club if they are to sign Benteke, with Chinese Super League rules only allowing four non-Chinese players per squad.
Currently, Coleman has the services of Hernanes, Gervinho, Javier Mascherano and Ezequiel Lavezzi.
HLN also report that although the club are interested, they have yet to approach Palace or Benteke’s agent about a potential deal.
