Crystal Palace are ready to enter the race to sign Jack Wilshere after the player was told he is free to leave Arsenal.
According to the Mirror, new Gunners boss Unai Emery has told the Englishman is no longer needed following a series of talks over a new deal.
The report claims that the player was offered a new contract at the Emirates, but he is aware that game time may be limited.

Wilshere is out of contract at the Emirates this summer and he will become a free agent in the coming weeks.
There is reportedly a wealth of Premier League interest in the player, with Wolves and West Ham heavily linked with the move.
There is also thought to be interest abroad with AC Milan and Juventus linked with surprise moves, but it is yet to be seen how concrete their interest is.
Palace could see Wilshere as a replacement for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who returned to Chelsea following a fruitful loan spell with the club.
