Crystal Palace are preparing an offer of £20million for Liverpool striker Danny Ings, according to The Telegraph.
Palace manager Roy Hodgson will first need to sell players to raise funds, but will then move for the 26-year forward.
Hodgson wants Ings to spearhead his side’s attack for the upcoming campaign, but will face competition from Southampton and Newcastle who are both also interested in signing the former Burnley man.

Negotiations between the two clubs have begun, with a £20million fee being discussed. It is believed that the deal could rise to £25million, through various clauses.
Ings has two years left on his current deal, and has reached an agreement with boss Jurgen Klopp to let him leave this summer.
