Crystal Palace could make an approach to sign Almamy Toure from AS Monaco in the near future, according to reports from France.
The Eagles are believed to be keen on signing Toure, who was recently the subject of a formal approach from Monaco’s fellow Ligue 1 competitors OGC Nice.
According to RMC Sport, as cited by GFFN, Monaco declined this approach from Nice, alerting Palace to Toure’s situation at the club.

Toure has only one year remaining on his current contract at Monaco, indicating that the club could be considering cashing in on the player to avoid losing him for free at this time next year.
Palace, though, are well-stocked with right-back options. Toure plays predominantly out on the right of defence but the Eagles already have Joel Ward and Aaron Wan-Bissaka to occupy this role.
Nevertheless, RMC indicate that the Eagles are among the potential suitors for Toure.
