Roma midfielder Maxime Gonalons has turned down the chance to join both Crystal Palace and Everton this summer in a bid to stay in Italy.
According to Il Romanista, as cited on Calciomercato, the player does not want to leave Roma this summer.
Gonalons only joined the club last summer but is already being linked with moves away after struggling to break into the Roma side.

Both Palace and Everton had reportedly tabled offers to sign the player when it became clear that the Italian outfit were looking to move the midfielder on.
Previous reports have linked both Palace and Everton with the player, but the most recent claims state that a third Premier League club was in the running to sign the former Lyon star.
Both clubs have been looking to add to their midfield before the window closes and were confident they could offer the player more game time in the Premier League.
