Crystal Palace midfielder Jason Puncheon has been told he can leave the club on loan before the end of the month.
TEAMtalk report that Middlesbrough are interested in signing the player on loan, as Tony Pulis looks to strengthen his squad.
Puncheon has fallen out of favour at Palace under Roy Hodgson and the arrival of Max Meyer, who recently joined from Schalke, will only cast further doubts over the playing time he will get at Selhurst Park this season.
The former Southampton star has played a key role for Palace in the Premier League in recent years.

However, Meyer’s arrival is something that is considered as a huge coup for Palace after impressing at Schalke.
Boro boss Pulis is remaining very active in the loan window as he aims to mount a promotion push.
He is also believed to be working on deals to sign Everton duo Mo Besic and Yannick Bolasie but faces competition from Aston Villa for the latter.
