Crystal Palace failed to bounce back from their defeat to Liverpool as they were beaten 2-1 by Watford at Vicarage Road on Sunday.
Watford scored two second-half goals to secure the three points, with Wilfried Zaha pulling one back late on.
Roberto Pereyra opened the scoring when he cut inside and curled a superb strike into the bottom corner from distance.
Holebas doubled Watford’s lead, before Zaha poked the ball in to reduce the arrears for Palace.
