Crystal Palace suffered a third defeat on the bounce as the Eagles lost 2-0 to Southampton at Selhurst Park.
Without Wilfried Zaha, Palace really struggled.
Palace had several good chances, but were simply not clinical enough compared to Southampton who took their chances.
After a goalless first half, Danny Ings opened the scoring just after the break. Southampton would wrap up all three points at the death, with Pierre-Emile Hojbgerg finishing off a counter attack to win the game for the Saints.
Wayne Hennessey would save a Southampton penalty, but Palace could not take advantage by grabbing a goal.
Palace will be disappointed, as their poor start to the season continues.
