In this week’s e-Crystal Palace Podcast, I review the game against Southampton by giving you my match review, player ratings as well as my Man of the Match.
Palace fell to their third league defeat in-a-row at the expense of the Saints at Selhurst Park. Despite a penalty save from Wayne Hennessey – his first for the club – the Eagles lost out after second-half goals from Danny Ings and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg condemned them to defeat.
Even with Palace’s many chances in the second half – including a curled McArthur shot which thudded off the crossbar and a Benteke header well saved by McCarthy – they still weren’t able to get back into the game.
