Zaha to return to action against Huddersfield

Roy Hodgson and Crystal Palace have been given a major boost with the news that Wilfried Zaha is expected to return to action against Huddersfield.

The London Evening Standard reports that the Ivorian international is set to feature against the Terriers after missing the defeat to Southampton.

The report does not specify whether Zaha is likely to start or come off the bench.

Zaha, who was left out of the most recent Ivory Coast squad because of the injury, missed Palace’s previous defeat after tweaking an abductor during a training session.

The report follows up claims by made the player’s brother, who also played down the severity of Zaha’s injury after it was claimed he could be sidelined for as long as four weeks.

Palace fans will be delighted to see the forward back in action given the club’s torrid record without him in the side.

Zaha is once again set to play a key role in determining the success of the club in the Premier League this season.
