Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has showered plenty of praise on Jordan Ayew after his impressive performance against Huddersfield Town, according to a report on Football Ghana.
The striker played the entire match and played a key role in helping the Eagles secure a 1-0 away victory.
Ayew was given his chance as Christian Benteke missed the match due to an injury and he linked very well with Wilfried Zaha.

The summer signing provided the assist for Zaha’s remarkable goal but Hodgson was pleased with his overall input on Saturday afternoon. He said:
If we’re going to have the season we would like to have, you need quality players and when they’re not playing you miss them.
I thought today we were fortunate to also play Jordan Ayew at centre-forward and bring Cheikhou Kouyate into the team.
That served us well today and their work-rate, aggression and determination meant we were able to control large swathes of the game and keep the ball out of our box.
Ayew joined the Eagles from Championship side Swansea City and has been patiently waiting to be given more minutes in the Premier League. With Benteke ruled out, Ayew will be hoping to continue to leave a positive impression on his manager.
