Crystal Palace will be without Christian Benteke for the game against Newcastle this weekend.
Roy Hodgson has confirmed the striker will be out of action as he continues to recover from a knee injury.
Speaking at his weekly pre-match press conference, as reported by Football London, Hodgson revealed that Benteke is no closer to a return to action.

The Belgian striker sustained his injury while away with his national squad during the most recent international break.
While Hodgson would, of course, love to have a clean bill of health in his squad, it can be viewed as something of a blessing in disguise.
Benteke has struggled for form this season and his injury has forced Hodgson into a tactical change at Selhurst Park.
Palace will be hoping that they can secure back-to-back victories in the Premier League for the first time this season with a win against Rafa Benitez.
