Alexander Sorloth’s father Goran Sorloth has defended his son’s poor form for Crystal Palace and has backed him to produce the goods for the Eagles soon, according to a report on Sport Witness.
Sorloth joined the club in January from FC Midtjylland, with Palace fans and management having high hopes for him. However, the striker has failed to impress so far as he continues to struggle to find some goalscoring form.

Sorloth’s father said:
Alexander is good enough. At the same time, we must not forget that he is in the Premier League. You have come to the top shelf in terms of pressure and interest.
We also have to remember that he is only 22 years old and has experienced incredible amounts in a short period of time.
With Christian Benteke set to be out of action until the new year, Palace need backup strikers Sorloth and Jordan Ayew to step up and deliver goals for them.
Manager Roy Hodgson has hit out at the finishing of his players this season and they are yet to score a goal at home in the league this season.
Sorloth is yet to score a Premier League goal but has found the net once for Palace, in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season.
