Crystal Palace, Southampton and Cardiff are all being linked with a shock move to sign former Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko from Roma.
According to the Mirror, the three Premier League clubs could offer the striker a route back to the English top flight after a fruitful spell in Italy.
The 32-year-old spent five seasons at Manchester City, where he won two Premier League titles and recently admitted that he would not rule out a return to English football.
He said:
It’s probably too late for me to return to the Premier League, but you never know: we’ll see.

Roma are known for their willingness to allow players to move away from the club if the price is right and they could ask for a huge fee for the Bosnian, who has a track record of scoring goals in the Premier League.
Chelsea and Real Madrid were heavily linked with a move for Dzeko last season, so it would certainly be a surprise to see him end up at Selhurst Park in the immediate future.
