Crystal Palace may have been dealt a major blow with the news that Wilfried Zaha has picked up an injury while away on international duty.
According to reports in the Ivory Coast, Zaha has been forced to return early from international duty, but the severity of the player’s injury is not yet known.
The player is expected to undergo further tests upon his return that will allow both his club and country to learn more about the injury.
Zaha is said to have suffered the injury during the first of two games against the Central African Republic in the African Cup of Nations qualifier.
The winger has been forced to miss the second game after making his way back to Crystal Palace on Monday.
The news comes as a huge blow for Palace, who have been dependent on the Ivorian international this season.
As Palace wait for more information, it is yet to be seen if he will be fit enough to feature against Everton this weekend.
