Spanish giants Atletico Madrid are expected to rival Crystal Palace for the signature of Inter forward Gabriel Barbosa.
According to reports in Italy, Barbosa also referred to as Gabigol, has been a long-term target for Madrid.
There have been suggestions that the striker could be on the move soon after impressing while on loan at Santos.
Palace have been linked with an ambitious move to sign the Brazilian during the January window, with Roy Hodgson desperately looking to add goals to his squad.
Despite being very highly thought of in Brazil, Gabigol was unable to impress during his brief stint in Italy and was sent back to his home country to rediscover his best form.
The striker has previously talked up a move to Spain, but he could find game time hard to come by under Diego Simeone.
Any January deal is likely to be complicated given the player is still on loan at Santos, but Inter are looking to cash in on the Brazilian.
