Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur has announced his retirement from international football, according to a report on BBC Sport.
The Scottish international made 32 appearances for his country, with his last one coming exactly one year ago.

The central midfielder wants to continue playing at the highest level with Palace and he believes that retiring from Scotland duty will allow him to do so for as long as possible.
He said:
I have found it increasingly difficult over the last year to manage a number of physical issues.
I am extremely proud to have been selected to represent my country on 32 occasions.
I have debated long and hard about this decision and I feel the only way for me to be able to maintain my fitness in order to continue to play at the top level is to retire from international football.
The 31-year-old has been a regular for Palace this season and helped his side to earn a valuable point against Arsenal on Sunday at Selhurst Park.
McArthur’s last match with Scotland was a 2-2 draw against Slovenia as he now turns his attention solely to club football.
The midfielder signed a new deal with the Eagles earlier this season which lasts until 2021.
