Crystal Palace have endured a difficult start to the Premier League season.
The Eagles are currently languishing low on the table in 16th place and are outside of the relegation zone based only on goal difference.
This has been an issue for Palace under Roy Hodgson this season. Although their defence has been leaky throughout, they have looked rudderless in the final third and are struggling to score goals.
Palace have found the net only eight times from their opening 12 fixtures, indicating that the January transfer window will be an important period for the club as they look to push their way up the table.
Christian Benteke is still nursing an injury, while Alexander Sorloth and Jordan Ayew have yet to convince in a striking role. The onus on goalscoring simply cannot be placed upon Wilfried Zaha once more for the Eagles.
So, who could provide Hodgson’s side with added attacking spark in the January window? We’ve identified some strikers.
