Premier League club Crystal Palace are set to battle with Huddersfield Town for the signature of Liverpool forward Dominic Solanke, according to a report on Sky Sports.
Palace are desperate to sign a striker in the January transfer target and manager Roy Hodgson wants the Englishman on loan until the end of the season.

The Liverpool forward is eager to secure a loan move in order to get more playing time as he has been given little first-team opportunity by Jurgen Klopp this season.
Hodgson is understood to have Solanke high on his list of targets but will face competition from Huddersfield, whose manager David Wagner is good friends with Klopp.
Palace secured a shock victory over champions Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon and have been playing with two traditional wingers up front.
With current strikers Christian Benteke, Conor Wickham and Alexander Sorloth all struggling for form and fitness, Solanke would be the ideal signing for the Eagles going into the second half of the season.
