Roy Hodgson’s Crystal Palace side kept another clean-sheet as they held onto a 0-0 draw at home to Cardiff City.
It was a game of strong defence and a leggy attack at Selhurst Park, which ultimately lead to both sides adding a valuable point to their Premier League tally.
Palace dominated possession throughout the game but struggle in-front of goal, failing to take any chances that came their way.
Palace continued their attacking threat which saw them cause an upset against Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium last week but sitters were missed by a couple of Eagles’ players.
Meanwhile Cardiff were solid in defence and kept the hosts from hitting the back of the net, despite the Eagles’ 31 shots on goal.
Whilst the Cardiff defence was solid throughout, the Palace back-line was not. Had Cardiff of had more of an attacking threat to their ranks going forward then they could well have travelled back to Wales with all three points.
