The decision does not come as a shock to Palace fans, with Mutch heavily linked with a move away from the club over the past year.
Mutch joined Palace from QPR in the summer of 2015, but only made 40 appearances during his three-and-a-half year spell at Selhurst Park.

He was on loan to the Vancouver Whitecaps in 2018, with the MLS outfit opting not to take up the option in his loan deal to make it permanent.
The 27-year-old was then left in limbo, but Palace have now agreed to let him leave on a free – so he can speak to clubs this month.
Cardiff City were touted with an interest in him last month – a club where he made 60 appearances earlier in his career.
