Crystal Palace are reportedly in the race to sign USA international Gyasi Zardes.
The 27-year-old enjoyed a superb season in MLS with Columbus Crew following his switch from LA Galaxy, starting in 36 top-flight games and scoring on 20 occasions.
This form appears to have piqued the interests of several English clubs, including Roy Hodgson’s side, according to a report from TEAMtalk.

It is well documented that Crystal Palace are on the lookout for attacking reinforcements during the January transfer window following their underwhelming Premier League season thus far.
However, they have been struggling to recruit in recent times and missed out on a deal to sign Dominic Solanke on loan from Liverpool earlier this month.
The Eagles will face plenty of competition if they are to pursue a deal to sign Zardes, though, from clubs in both the Premier League and the Championship.
Huddersfield Town and Fulham are believed to also be in the race to sign the powerful striker, with second-tier outfits Norwich City, Middlesbrough and Leeds United all also touted as potential suitors.
