Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish has teased fans by suggesting that the club could sign ‘one or two more’ before the transfer window closes.
Palace yesterday signed young goalkeeper Lucas Perri on loan from São Paulo, with an option to make the deal permanent in the summer.

Talking to Palace TV, as quoted by Football.London, Parish explained that he was happy with having got the deal done, saying:
We are calm about what we do. It isn’t a great window to do business.
There are opportunities, rather than things you can make happen, and you have to look at each opportunity and shine a light on it, and is it going to make us better?
There’s a lot of noise around transfer windows where everyone wants you to do something, but it is important to do the right thing.
We are very excited about the keeper [Lucas Perri] and that will be an exciting one for the future.
While it was reported earlier this month that the Eagles shouldn’t expect too many signings this month, Parish has teased that more players could be brought into Selhurst Park before the window closes. Parish continued:
We’ve got maybe one, or at a push, two other things that we might be able to do before the deadline.
Unfortunately it has been well reported that the one we probably wanted to bring in the most [Dominic Solanke] we didn’t feel would have helped at the time because of an injury situation.
And we think now that what we are looking at now, can help us, and that’s the important thing.
If we are going to bring someone in, it has got to be an opportunity for the future if it is one like the keeper, or it has got to be something that can genuinely help us now.
Everything else is just noise really.
